KAS is a German political foundation. Starting in Ghana in 1966, KAS supports
socio-political reforms, attempts to strengthen the parliament as an institution of
decision-making, promotes popular participation in the political process and security
as well as the integration of traditional structures into the modern state.

Kindermissionswerk, Die Sternsinger ‘is the child welfare organization of the Catholic
Church in Germany. It is the German branch of POSI in Rome, which brings together
120 child welfare organizations worldwide. We support 1,965 projects to help
disadvantaged children in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Oceania and
Eastern Europe.

Founded in 1947 as a Catholic aid organization for war refugees and recognized as
a papal foundation since 2011, ACN is dedicated to the service of Christians around
the world, through information, prayer and action, wherever they are persecuted or
oppressed or suffering material need. ACN supports every year an average of 5000
projects in close to 150 countries, thanks to private donations, as the foundation
receives no public funding.

As a Pontifical Missionary Mission , missio testifies to the good news of the God of
Life, which has become concrete in the mission of Jesus and in his message of the
dawn of the Kingdom of God. Together with Pope Francis , missio is committed
to strengthening the faith and supports the Catholic Church in the poorest countries
in the world.
By working with our partners in Africa, Asia and Oceania and through our
commitment as a Catholic ministry in the German Church, we help to experience and
testify to the message of Jesus Christ as a source of worldwide solidarity.

He came to bring the good news to the poor , to free prisoners, to heal the sick, to
proclaim a year of grace of the Lord (see Luke 4). Jesus Christ is our hope to give
from the testimony we owe to the world (1 Pet 3:15).
